It is fantastic that you are ready to make a character for Haumea Colony, and we are more than happy to have you about. We try to accommodate as many people as possible in terms of their characters, but even we have our limits. There are a few things to be aware of when you’re constructing your character for this simulation:

• Please try to refrain from adding aspects to your character that are fueled by illegal activities, ie. smuggling, vigilantism, bounty hunting, etc. For the time being, we’re still building upon Haumea’s lore and aspects surrounding that. In the future, there may be room for such things.
• When applying for a role, please keep in mind what you intend to have your character doing on the simulation. The Command Staff will ask, and will be more than happy to work with you on it, but please try to have an idea of what you would like to play.
• We are not an Old West simulation. This is a Star Trek simulation and we are centered around Starfleet and all that that entails. Please keep that in mind when applying.
• We will instantly decline characters who are highly sexualized or seem to be offensive caricatures of any race, sexuality, faith, culture, or any lifestyle choice that is not listed here.
• We follow the Obsidian Fleet Banned Races list, but that list is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to disallow a race based on whether it fits on the simulation or not.
• On a case-by-case basis, we allow the use of Original Races, but those races must have some sort of background and we reserve the right to decline them. We are going to require that you fill out every bit of information that is pertinent, especially your sample post and history. Your application will be declined without either of these items.
