| Personal History | The daughter of Federation colonists, Liala and her brother were both born on Haumea Colony. After her mother died, their father signed onto a freighter in order to secure a better standard of living for the family, leaving Liala and her brother in the care of their grandmother. With infrequent visits from their father, Liala has grown into a role of caregiver to her grandmother as their surrogate parent ages. She recently enlisted into Starfleet in order to contribute more to the family and hopefully to help secure admission to Starfleet Medical Academy when she's ready. |
