Like his basis, the EMH has a taciturn but warm personality, preferring to keep most of his numerous thoughts to himself unless he knows he can trust someone with them. Sometimes prone to distraction through over concentration. He is aware of his existence as a hologram and the separation from his original life, but still thinks of himself as an extension of Doctor Zhao, even if he knows that isn't the case.
